From East to West Plaza, The Crossroads, Fairway, and now Mission, Rosalie Volavongsa has truly made a name for herself in our growing metro area. As a Kansas City native with over 25+ years of experience, the dream was always to open her own space. In 2023, that dream became a reality, and Collective Salon & Barbershop KC was born.

Having always been drawn to different styles, cultures, and trends, Rosalie began her journey in the late 90’s by immersing herself in the underground beauty scene of Europe while living in London. Upon her return to the States, she’s had the opportunity to collaborate in cities such as New York, Chicago, Las Vegas, and beyond.

With an eye for style, passion for clients, and pure artistry for hair, it’s our mission to ensure quality services, sustainable products, and a satisfying client experience.
